4 out of 5 stars Great Bass   January 18, 2009

I love this bass! It has great action and plays really well. Its neck board is a little on the thin side, which I prefer, compared to most basses. This is what gives it a comfortable feel when playing.

So here are some details: There are three knobs on the bass. One for each pick up and the third is a tone control. The bridge makes making adjustments pretty easy. The holes there for adjusting the bridge were smaller than any allan wrench that I had on hand, but I had a torx head wrench that looked about the right size and was able to adjust it with that. I haven't done anymore research beyond that for adjusting the bridge.

The one thing that keeps this from being a great bass is that the truss rod adjustment is and the pick up side of the neck, which in itself isn't bad, but on this bass you must remove the pick guard to make a truss rod adjustment. Fortunately, these sort of adjustments are not required too often.

All in all, this bass is good for any style of play. If you play any slap bass, this will also do the trick.

Also, to those people who keep track, mine was manufactured in Japan. I would say that the construction quality is outstanding.
